Joseph Hill, a seasoned journalist and founder of Pothos Productions LLC, boasts over thirty years of diverse media experience, spanning television, radio, newspapers, and magazines. As a contributing editor for About Time Magazine, Hill spent 22 years as a television news reporter/producer, covering a range of stories from crime and courts to papal visits and the aftermath of the 9/11 attack.

In 1990, Hill joined R-News, a Time Warner-owned, CNN-affiliated 24-hour local news station in Rochester, New York. Here, he produced specials and documentaries, earning accolades for works like "Mission of Hope: Rochester in Haiti" and "Remembering Malcolm X in Rochester." 

His documentary "Black Border Warriors," tracing the epic saga of the Seminole Negro Indian Scouts, premiered in 2018, winning Best Feature Length Documentary at the Black International Cinema Berlin Film Festival. The film has since been showcased at various international festivals, including Cannes, and is currently featured at the Museum of the Great Plains in Lawton, Oklahoma.

Originally from Chicago, Hill is a University of Wisconsin-Whitewater alum, currently residing in Saint Paul, Minnesota.

The son of a former Yankees prospect and a U.S. Veteran, Franco Vanderka, naturally exceled with his athleticism and inherited the discipline that led to his success on the mound. His experience as a Divison I pitcher for Stony Brook University, a team that made it to the College World Series in 2012, and his passion for all sports allows him to provide his audience with insight from an athlete's perspective. 

Franco’s tremendous work ethic helped him create 2 companies in the cannabis and entertainment industries, NYPB and The Oven Podcast. His stance on the positive effects of cannabis as a healing tool pushes him to break stigmas and be a resource for those looking to better understand the cannabis industry. The Oven Podcast is available on YouTube, with audio available on all podcast platforms including Apple and Spotify.

Since 2023 Franco has been a regular MLB analyst and contributor to Fox Sports Rochester on "Whats Going On".

Josh Menza is the owner of DCM Digital Content Management, a seasoned producer for The Ryan Show FM, and a contributor to What's Going On on Fox Sports Radio, where he brings his unique insight as a Mets analyst. A longtime producer at Fox Sports Rochester, Josh has spent years shaping the direction of sports media, blending his deep knowledge of the industry with his passion for storytelling.

Nick Mac is an accomplished sports journalist who has made waves in various avenues within the sports realm over the last five years. He began his career as a journalist and producer of The Ryan Show FM where he was able to sit down with such legendary athletes such as Sugar Ray Leonard and Allan Houston.

For the last 19 months, Mac has been a lead NBA journalist for world-renowned basketball website Fadeaway World. In this time, Mac has become a respected voice within the NBA community and has gotten the attention of high-profile athletes such as Shaquille O'Neal as well as been featured on Sports Illustrated and MSN. 

Mac brings an extensive knowledge of the game of basketball and its history to What's Goin On and will be a regular contributor moving forward.
